In May, a team of our experts attended two architectural conferences. On May 5, the BIG ARCHITECTURE festival organized by the BIG Institute took place in Cankarjev dom in Ljubljana.

In the morning of the business educational event for advanced architecture and construction, the Intelligent Facade conference took place, and in the afternoon the Light in Architecture conference. During the entire day, the event included a presentation by manufacturers of building materials. Helios presented a wide range of construction materials at the exhibition area, with an emphasis on the new innovative SPEKTRA Top Dry facade paint. On the 180° stage, the presentations of the winning projects and the BIG SEE awards were presented. The award was also received by HELIOS TBLUS, d.o.o., as a partner in the project of architects GAO - Apartment in Izlake.

The program at Cankarjev dom was concluded with an interesting lecture by a special guest, the Finnish architect Juhani Pallasmaa, and in the evening the presentation of Grand Prix awards and a gala dinner took place at the Grand Hotel Union.

On May 20, the "Archikult" conference was held in the Brdo pri Kranju Congress Centre on the topic of the construction and design of facilities for healthcare. The conference began with technical lectures by various experts, among whom was the technical advisor Jure Jug,. B.S. Che. E. from the Department of Industrial Metal Coatings, who gave a lecture entitled Protection of metal structures (Standard ISO 12944:2018).

In the second part of the conference, the architects presented their current projects. The conference was rounded up with a lecture by Professor Boris Podrecca and the award ceremony.
