At Helios, we always strive for wood coatings that enable quality protection and preservation of the beauty of wood, while considering the importance of sustainability.
In cooperation with our long-term partner MARLES HIŠE, we started the Dom24h project together with twelve other companies. Dom 24h is a Smart home of the future for a comfortable and healthy living and working environment. As part of the project, a model facility (Dom 24h) is being built, which will be superior in many aspects. It will be built in a zero-energy house concept, with super insulation, state-of-the-art ventilation, and heat recovery.
Helios is part of the project with innovative and environmentally friendly coating systems that offer higher aesthetic and resistance properties, longer durability, and easy maintenance. For interiors, we have developed a coating system for heavily loaded furniture surfaces - UV-curing water-based coatings. To protect exterior wooden surfaces, we have developed stain coating systems that ensure a longer life span of the materials. For the purpose of wooden terraces protection within the project we also included an environmentally friendly bio-coating system based on oils.
